New article from the Master’s thesis in the Face-it project

Huge congratulations to Anju Rawal, who has published her first article. The article is based on Anju’s Master’s thesis in Global Health. The results show that dietary changes after a pregnancy with gestational diabetes varied. Some women improved their diet quality, while others reported a lower-quality diet. Women with a BMI over 25 kg/m², those who perceived their diet as unhealthy, and those who were not exclusively breastfeeding three months after birth were more likely to report improved dietary habits one year postpartum. Read the article here.

About Face-it

Face-it is a research project targeted at families where the mother has had gestational diabetes. In collaboration with municipalities and hospitals across Denmark, we investigate whether a tailored postpartum intervention can improve quality of life and health for the whole family and reduce the risk of developing type 2 diabetes.

Here, you can find relevant information about the project - both if you are a participant and if you are a health care professional.
